Client Details
Our client is a Japanese semi-government organisation and they are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can work as a Research & Liaison Officer. Must be fluent in Japanese language skill and native level in English.
Description
Responsibilities:
Research financial and administrative policies and operations in Australia and in New Zealand.
Plan and organise events and forums
Liaise and coordinate with local governments and other external organisations
Translate documents (English to Japanese, Japanese to English)
Other ad-hoc duties as requested
Profile
Requirements:
Native in English and fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2 level preferred)
Ability to conduct research from different source of information
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders is essential
Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at same time
High attention to detail
Demonstrate flexibility/ adaptability
Computer skill (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)
Good team player
Able to travel
Working experience in government related organisations, educational organisations and research institutions or experience with Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) will be highly regarded. Experience in writing essay or thesis in Japanese would be a plus.
The working hours is 38 hours/week:
Monday to Thursday : 9:30- 18:15
Friday : 9:30 - 17:30
You will be able to Work from Home (2 days a week) but it might change in the future.
