About the Role: The Head of Department FTD/Business leads the following priorities within their portfolio of responsibilities: Implementation of the FTD and Business Curriculum Years 7-12 through quality pedagogy and teaching and learning practicesProfessionally support teachers, especially early career teachers, and contribute to positive staff wellbeingOversight of all QCAA requirements for FTD and BusinessOversight of all VET requirements for FTD and BusinessManage the Trade Training Centre for HospitalityManage events in the Trade Training Centre Restaurant including outside of school hoursContribute to the academic learning culture and implement programs and processes that support quality learning outcomes for all students The successful applicant is required to work across a range of teams to monitor student performance, and support staff and students to improve learning outcomes in alignment with Equity and Excellence expectations.It would be highly desirable if the successful applicant has a current TAE and vocational experience compatible with the subject offered at Windaroo Valley.Interested?
