What is a Marketing Specialist- Japanese Speaking? The Marketing Specialist works with partners to consult on their marketing strategies and tactics and to develop effective campaigns that deliver ROI.

A great Marketing Specialist needs to have a very strong understanding of what is happening in the marketplace and what influences buying decisions. You will keep on top of market trends and proactively manage vendor brand messaging so it meets the consumer head-on. You will need to be analytical in your thinking to track ROI and ensure constant review to ensure that partner campaigns deliver. Planning, directing and adjusting multiple campaigns calls for an ability to focus on details.

The Marketing Specialist is tasked with working on behalf of our clients to support their network of IT partners with the planning and execution of their marketing plans and campaigns. It is a dynamic role driving digital-led outcomes linked to the cloud and the IT industry.

This role will support Partners across Asia. You will be providing advice and support on marketing tactics and strategies, so you will need to have a good understanding of marketing tactics. Acting as a central liaison throughout projects, you will also need to be a strong communicator - relationship management skills are crucial in this role.

The day-to-day: Engagement with business owners and marketing managersPlanning, managing and supporting the execution of partner marketing plans and campaignsDay-to-day management of existing partner relationships ensuring the partners are informed, enabled and driving actions to support and grow our client's revenuesWorking with partner and local sales and marketing teams to understand the solution focus and then take ownership of sourcing suitable materials provided by our clientCreating marketing briefs for presentation and partner trainingMonitoring marketing campaign execution and ROIMonitor leads and be accountable for supporting the end-to-end lead management processBe responsive and act as the first point of contact for your client and partnersCreate and adapt data from a variety of data points to produce client-ready reporting and analyticsIdentify and resolve client issues with escalation to Program Manager/Director where necessary.Skills/experience that you will offer: Business-level Japanese and English both written and spoken, with the ability to adapt communication style to fit the audienceA minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in the Japanese market, such as in a Business to Business Marketing environment in the Technology industryExperience in Channel Marketing and/or the Public Sector will be an added advantageExtensive experience and knowledge of the Digital Landscape and online platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, etc.Ability to support the translation of content and client feedback between English and JapanesePrevious experience working in a Marketing role; planning and developing full strategic marketing campaigns, including budget management and allocationKnowledge and experience of online advertising campaigns (training will be provided)Good knowledge of online (e.g. email marketing, SEO, SEA, display advertising, video production) and offline Marketing campaign types (e.g. events, telemarketing, print advertising, sponsoring, incentives)Excellent client liaison skills, ability to react and respond in a timely and effective mannerThe ability to grow relationships and become a trusted advisorStrong MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills with the ability to present informationIndependence is important, but so is being a team player to ensure success across the teamAn interest in technologyWillingness to learn and contribute ideasWe also offer: A competitive remuneration packageFlexible working and remote working options are available.
