Exhibition Designer

We are looking for an industrial designer with industry experience in design and manufacturing. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in design and detailing and fast-paced creative design work.

Candidates for this role must be willing to undertake accredited training (at our cost).

Duties & Responsibilities:Produce highly detailed build-ready 3D models of display elementsProduce design drawings for production and manufactureProduce DXFs or NC filesWork on design projects under the directionof the Design Manager and Senior DesignersAssist in producing design presentations with renders and elevations of design conceptsAttend internal project meetings for job status and progressWorking with other departments to solve problems and come up with the best solutions for our clientsResearch and Development into new materials and construction methodsCompetencies & Experience Required:Knowledge of Solidworks and related 3D CAD softwaresKnowledge of rendering and visualisation softwares (Photoview, 3DSMAX)Knowledge Swood Design and CAM softwares preferredKnowledge of AutoCAD, DXF creation, nesting and CNC programmingKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)Good communication and decision-making skillsNot afraid to ask questions about the project or suggest better ways of doing thingsAble to work autonomously and use initiativeAble to work in a team and office environment with project deadlinesQualifications Required:Bachelor in Design and or ArchitectureTo be eligible for this position you must have:Australian citizenship or Permanent residencyRemuneration:A competitive salary package will be offered depending upon experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
