Milestone IT are currently seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join a leading Melbourne healthcare provider on a contract basis. As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will report into the CIO and you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of infrastructure projects, from planning and design to implementation and post-implementation support.
Responsibilities:
Plan and manage infrastructure Projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsWork closely with stakeholders to gather project requirements and identify project goals, risks, and constraintsDevelop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansManage project scope, timelines, and budgets and ensure project goals are metCommunicate project progress and status updates to stakeholders and leadership teamsManage and lead project teams, including cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractorsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including information security, change management, and project management methodologiesEvaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvementRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience in IT infrastructure project managementStrong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationSolid understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including network architecture, server hardware and software, storage systems, and virtualization technologiesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusIf you are a self-starter with a passion for delivering successful IT infrastructure projects and are excited to work with a collaborative and innovative team, please apply with your resume and cover letter.
