This role involves spearheading the creation, training, evaluation, deployment, and management of machine learning models and pipelines. The Machine Learning Engineer Lead plays a critical role in developing systems that serve our product teams, including those in customer service, by providing seamless access to advanced Large Language Models (LLMs).Day to day responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining core infrastructure & systems to enable software engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists in the creation, deployment, and management of machine learning models.Architect and roll out systems that provide teams with access to expertly curated Large Language Models (LLMs), boosting the performance and capabilities of our platform and associated applications.Leading, mentoring, and nurturing a team of machine learning engineers, overseeing the technical design, development, and launch of projects, while promoting a culture of innovation and technical excellence.Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that ML initiatives are in sync with the company's strategic direction.About YouYou have an advanced degree in computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a closely related field.A comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of AI, ML, and software development.Significant experience in software development, particularly in constructing and managing resilient infrastructure and architectural solutions tailored for machine learning and AI applications.Proficiency in a range of machine learning and data science tools and frameworks, facilitating effective teamwork alongside data scientists and ML engineers in the model development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.Expert knowledge in the field of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications, with proven experience in designing and implementing systems that leverage LLMs to enhance product team capabilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring productive collaboration with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders, coupled with a commitment to keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in AI and ML to guide strategic initiatives in the Ecommerce sector.Demonstrated capability in leading and guiding a team of machine learning engineers, encouraging technical excellence, innovation, and the successful delivery of projects.Benefits You'll be joining a highly motivated, agile team where your ideas and work will directly influence the direction and progress of an expanding global company in a hyper-growth phase.
