EL 2 - Director Digital Learning SolutionsThe RoleThe Director of Digital Learning Solutions is an exciting role responsible for influencing and developing digital learning solutions across Defence. This includes managing and developing digital learning platforms and enterprise wide e-learning tools. The role leads the branch in the adoption and promotion of good user experience practices.In delivering digital learning solutions, engagement with a range of stakeholders from within and outside of Defence is required. This may also include representing Defence in external forums. The role occupant is a trusted adviser to the Assistant Secretary, Defence Learning and is required to provide strategic advice on digital learning solutions to influence high-level decision-making.The role leads a team of digital learning experts and is responsible for promoting a positive and collaborative the team culture. In support of the lifelong learning and a growth mindset, the occupant is responsible for promoting and facilitating the development of team members.About our TeamOur team is geographically dispersed with hubs in Canberra, Melbourne and the Adelaide region. At the branch level, the team is made up of five directorates of learning specialists with a focus on learning strategies, delivery and digital learning. The team embraces remote and flexible working practices.The digital learning solutions directorate is delivering the new learning platform across the Defence enterprise and developing digital learning programs. Working with content owners across the enterprise, the team has a strong emphasis on user experience and promotes learner accessibility across its products.The digital learning solutions directorate consists of digital learning and user experience specialists, who are both APS employees, ADF members and contractors.Our Ideal CandidateAre you able to drive change and deliver digital learning solutions across Defence?Does a flexible workplace leading a multidisciplinary team interest you?We are looking for an exceptional leader who can navigate challenges to deliver digital learning solutions for Defence.
