They are a growing practice so a bubbly personality is a must as well as the ability to think on your feetwho's able to do the following tasksOpen and Close clinic as per set procedureGreet patients and other callers in a professional and courteous mannerMake appointments for patientsEnsure medical records are managed confidentially and efficientlyAccurately process patient payments via cash, Eftpos, and direct bill transaction.Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, TAC, Workcover.Knowledge of the MBS schedule and correct billing proceduresDeal with referring doctors, hospital staff, pharmacists etc courteously and helpfullyAttend to patient enquiriesCheck and handle internal emails.Fill in the roster when staff is away, on holidays and sick leave.Maintain the reception waiting area and consulting rooms tidy including the clean up of spills if necessary.Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records with appropriate scanning, faxing and filing of all documents.At all times maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information.Complete recalls.Support the day to day operations of the medical centre.Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.High level of computer literacy and IT knowledge.Minimum QualificationsCurrent Police CheckCurrent Working with Children clearanceCurrent First Aid/CPR certificateImmunisation Record Driving Licence/ Photo IDDemonstrated ability to work in a team Experience with Medical software (BEST PRACTICE/MEDICAL DIRECTOR)OND123
