Java Developer

The Client: Clicks IT recruitment is working with a well-established organisation in the public service sector.Currently there are looking for multiple Java Developersto provide development and support expertise on an initial 4 month contract with extensions.Responsibilities:Work as part of an application software project team to develop and support Java built application systemsUndertake solution analysis, design, construction, unit testing, quality reviews, performance testing, and resolve problemsWork with the Lead Analyst to effectively manage technical risks, issues, conflicts and priorities to complete work with the required deadlines.Develop documentation and software in line with technical standards and guidelines.Provide timely and accurate reporting of work progress as directed.Key Experience Required: Proven experience as a Developer using Java EE and JSFExperience using Java, Springboot, Spring AWS, React, Gradle, and REST API.Ability to utilise WebSphere application server and Oracle database server would be an advantage.Experience within large complex organisations; such as Qld Government, Government transport or similar organisations.The Offer:$900-$950 per day (negotiable)4 month contract + 2x12 month extensionsLarge, ongoing program of workIf you wish to apply for this position, please submit your resume by clicking the 'Apply Now' button.
