Organisation: The Royal Children's Hospital Occupation: Medical and Nursing Reference: 11492 About the Role:This is a Permanent Full Time position within the Storage and Cloud Operations department. You will be responsible for for managing and maintaining key components of the RCH cloud and on premise Infrastructure platform. Specifically the role focusses on the management of the backups, storage, and Linux environmentWhat you'll achieve:You will support and maintain the delivery of the underlying Linux, Backups and Storage infrastrucutre of critical applicaitons and systems.You will contribute to the delivery of RCH Cybersecurity protections, including the DHHS Cybersecurity Baseline ControlsYou will play a valuable role in the RCH storage migration projectThe cloud, physical and virtual compute and storage infrastructure supporting the provision of technology services to the RCHYour skills and experience:Experience with Windows infrastructure4+ years' experience with enterprise backup and storage environmentsExperience and knowledge of virtualisation technologies e.g. VMWareExperience in Backing up Microsoft Office 365A strong desire to develop and transition to cloud technologiesDemonstrable strong PowerShell and scripting experienceAn ability to effectively prioritise tasks and successfully problem solve and trouble-shoot issuesDemonstrated ability to respond flexibly to client needs with the ability to develop practical solutions to problems and provide advice in area of expertiseDemonstrated commitment to lead and contribute as part of a team, with experience in continuous improvementIf this sounds like you, click here  to view the position description.About the Department:The RCH Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Department has a pipeline of key projects, as part of a major digital transformation, to implement to drive innovation, bring in new ways of working and support the ongoing operation of the hospital.
