Degree in Engineering (ABET certified): Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Industrial. Other degrees will be considered with appropriate experience.Prior experience in project management is required. This experience may include NPD and large scale/scope engineering change for current products.Must be able to manage workload for multiple projects at once.Must have a proven history of working independently with minimal direct supervision.Demonstrated team player and team leader qualities.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to develop and monitor measurable process for process improvement and root cause identification.Excellent problem-solving skills (5Y, Ishikawa, FTA).Manufacturing process experience with one or more of following: hydraulics, steel, fabrication, electrical, powertrain.4 + years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.Typical work hours will be four 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday. Candidates should expect to work additional hours/days as necessary to ensure successful project completion.A general knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in SolidWorks is desirable.Working Condition:Work is performed a manufacturing environment where significant safety considerations exist from use of dangerous equipment, proximity to moving objects, full-body physical labor and handling of medium-to-heavy weight materials.
