Training & Development (Human Resources & Recruitment)We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Learning Solutions to join Serco Asia Pacific's Community Services Business Unit. The successful candidate will assume a critical role in overseeing and managing Serco's RTO and health stream related learning and development program. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Governance, within the Health Hub, the Head of Learning Solutions will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring compliance, leading the Learning and Development (L&D) Team and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.What you'll be doingProviding direct leadership and management of the Learning Solutions team and functions, assuming the role of CEO for Serco's RTOContributing to the development and execution of the organisational strategy to meet business unit impact and financial growth targetsOverseeing the financial performance of the RTO, delivering timely reports on performance in collaboration with the commercial teamLeading contract negotiations and management, ensuring terms and conditions are in Serco's best interest while maintaining compliance with legal requirementsEnsuring all accreditation and compliance-related processes and documentation are accurate and up-to-dateActing as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on applicable contractual matters, ensuring timely review and approval of variations.About youYou are a seasoned professional with a proven track record in driving impactful learning and development initiatives, particularly within the healthcare sector. Your expertise in business management and understanding of adult education principles, coupled with your strategic mindset, enables you to align business and learning objectives with organisational goals. Known for your strong communication skills and ability to build relationships, you thrive in dynamic environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.Tertiary qualification/s in business, health, or adult educationProven experience in business management or related field, preferably within an RTOStrong understanding of quality and compliance assurance, accreditation systems, procurement processes, and familiarity with the VET industry and regulatory environmentExcellent interpersonal and analytical skills with high attention to detail.This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role.Serco requires employees in this role to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people.
