Work that enhances the capacity and capability of the system to meet current and future needs. The unit sits within The Workforce Planning & Talent Development Branch. About the Role  The Operational Recruitment Lead works in a collaborative team environment and is responsible for the coordination, management, and delivery of recruitment services and business functions of the Workforce Operational Strategic Unit. This includes providing advice to business units within the team, and the NSW Health Deployment Program. Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in a large and diverse health organisation within the areas of business operations, human resources, end to end recruitment and interview management, and records management. Extensive experience in leading and implementing change or redesign health specific projects on a state-wide basis, work systems including ROB, Stafflink, and procedures unique to NSW Health. Highly developed organisational skills and experience supporting the executive and statutory roles of NSW Health and portfolio ministers working in a high volume, complex and demanding professional environment subject to high level political and media attention, with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve goals with a customer focused approach. Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex health information from numerous sources and communicating complex analysis and findings to a diverse audience and dealing with challenges creatively to achieving business focused solutions. Excellent communication, engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills; with demonstrated capability to build, maintain and use positive working relationships to successfully achieve business outcomes in a health-related workforce operational setting. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
