Procurement Agent

Procurement Agent You will be responsible for a broad range of acquisition functions, from straight-forward procurements valued under the micro-purchase threshold to complex, high-dollar value contracts for Contracting Officer signature. This includes long term planning, strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contractor management activities. Serves as a knowledge source for requesting office. Assists and collaborates with the Contracting Officer's Representative and performs management functions supporting formation, implementation, and administration of contracts in their portfolio. Makes purchase commitments of up to USD $25,000 with government purchase card. Skills and Experience Working knowledge of local business practices, what goods and services are available locally, and pricing schemes Three (3) years of experience in procuring a wide variety of products and services, administering terms and conditions of contracts, negotiating and awarding contracts, and contract modifications and monitoring contractors' performance Completion of a 4-year university degree in business administration, engineering, math, project management, information technology, or other technical or analytical field How to Apply Applications submitted via our website are strongly recommended.
