Award wage withprogression opportunities.About Us: La Maison du Patissier is a french patisserie/cafe locatedin Meridan Plains, 4551. Due to us extending our hours we are lookingfor an additional chef to work as part of our hard working andfriendly team.Hours: We are negotiable on hours however ideally after someone withavaliability from Thursday - Sunday (morning to afternoon only). Ifyou have commitments on any of these days we can try and work aroundyou! We are happy to employ you on a Casual or Permanent basis witharound 30 hours a week on offer (negoitable)Benefits: At La Maison we truely do have a fantastic team! We arewilling to train up the right junior candidates, provide anapprentiship or allow an experienced chef a step up into a more seniorrole. You will work alongside Eric our 3rd Generation Patissier withthe ability to learn how he works. This is a HUGE win given hisinternational chefing experience including working at the Ritz!Not to mention we have some pretty fantastic food and a great workingenvironment.About you! We are very open on experience for the right person! Wetheryou have worked in Cafes, Pubs or Fine Dining we believe attitude isthe most important quality… Depending on your level of experienceyou will have the ability to learn our full menu of meals and take onan independent role in the kitchen if able.The RoleYour job will vary with the following duties: Breakfast orders. Lunchorders. Speciality French food orders. Assisting with Cakes, Pastriesand Breads. Creating your own dishes/specials. Providing input on themenu.
