Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation (Healthcare & Medical) Full time $89,000 - $120,000 p/year + super + leave loading The Injury Centre is an expert, multi-disciplinary service providing both urgent care and follow-up care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries such as fractures, sprains and strains. We provide an Urgent Care alternative to an Emergency Department visit and ongoing specialist follow-up in our in-house Fracture Clinic and Hand Clinics for upper and lower limb trauma. All of our clinics have on-site radiology to expedite patient treatment and operate Monday-Friday 10:00am - Injury Centre commenced in 2018 and has expanded to two practice locations in Sydney. Due to a growing demand for our service and our plans to expand to other locations in Sydney, we are looking to grow our team of expert Physiotherapists. The successful Physiotherapist will work in partnership with our friendly and supportive team of Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons, Hand Surgeons, Emergency Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists and administrative team. Qualifications & experience Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA with no restrictions on your practice Experienced in the initial assessment and management of common musculoskeletal injuries of the upper and lower limbs Able to demonstrate previous experience in the ongoing management of musculoskeletal injuries Able to apply various methods of immobilisation or a willingness to learn (including CAM Walkers, ROM Braces, thermoplastic splints, POP/synthetic casting, back-slab & slings) Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number with no restrictions on Private Health Insurance billing privileges Willing to work as a team member to meet patient care needs with excellent time management skills A valid Driver License Previous experience as a Primary Contact Physiotherapist in an Emergency Department or Physiotherapist in an Orthopaedic Fracture Clinic is HIGHLY DESIRABLE Demonstrated ability in the interpretation of Upper & Lower Limb X-Ray is HIGHLY DESIRABLE A willingness to work between our Bella Vista & Narellan practices Tasks & responsibilities Initial assessment & management of musculo-skeletal injuries Develop and implement initial treatment and management plans for acute musulo-skeletal injuries Application of splinting, braces, casting Coordination and monitoring progression of Specialist Treatment Plans No manual therapies Work alongside a supportive team of Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and Allied Health clinicians where you will gain invaluable expertise and also share your valuable expertise A diverse range of musculoskeletal injury exposures a well equipped work environment for you to excel at your craft Refine your splinting skills with training and constant exposure to thermoplastic splinting and synthetic casting Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
