Senior Psychologist - Forensic Mental Health Northern Adelaide Local Health Network - Forensic Mental Health Service - Oakden Salary: $102,641 - $110,094 p.a. About the Role: An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Psychologist within the Forensic Mental Health Service. As a Senior Psychologist you will work within a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for the provision of a clinical psychology service involving the establishment and monitoring of quality assurance procedures, program evaluation and the design and direct provision of psychology assessment and treatment services. In this role you will provide specialist advice, assistance, and consultancy services to Forensic Mental Health Services staff. You may be delegated to provide orientation, supervision and support to staff, provisional psychologists and volunteers. Senior Psychologists contribute to the development of service aims and objectives and participate in the development and maintenance of relationships with key partners in government and non-government services. As a Senior Psychologist you will contribute to research and evaluation of psychological practice and promote new information and development in the field of psychology. To be eligible for this position, you must: hold an appropriate degree (Master of Clinical or Forensic Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA. hold general registration with the PsyBA and be endorsed in Clinical or Forensic area of practice. hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
