Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment & Water Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)Government - State (Government & Defence) Do you want your work to make a difference for NSW?Together, we create thriving environments, communities and economies.Temporary full-time opportunity until 30 Jun 2025Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,059 to $129,288+ superThe Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is currently seeking to appoint a Lean Process Analyst to join our Environment & Heritage Group division.About YouThe Lean Process Analyst focuses on re-engineering processes to eliminate waste and improve customer experience. This role supports the production of future state process blueprints, reviews current state and determines how the process or outputs need to change to support future state and works in collaboration with the business to execute process improvement. Proactively manage key stakeholder relationships, and lead and conduct workshops and meetings as required to define as-is and to-be business processes and ensure improved outcomes and business objectives are met.Document and analyse business requirements for tasks relating to business processes and / or systems and challenge the business on requirements (scope) and drive solutions in line with best business practice.Define future state process blueprints and provide recommendations to inform decision making.Determine baseline KPIs, future KPIs and implement measurement and monitoring practicesImplement process change and work in conjunction with business analysis to determine any technology enablement.Post implementation analysis - ensure that any process / procedure changes or new processes introduced are being followed, benefits measured, and outstanding issues or constraints identified and planned to be successful in this role, you must have:Excellent communication and experience in running workshopsSubstantial experience in business analysis or a related fieldKnowledge of SAP (ERP system), ServiceNow and/or SuccessFactors would be an advantage.Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) works to protect the state's environment and heritage.
