Electrical Design Engineer

ITP Renewables is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Engineer to join our growing team in Canberra. You will be joining a team with a broad range of engineering and consulting skills in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar PV and batteries.

Key role functions will include:

Detailed engineering design of grid-connected, hybrid and off-grid renewable energy systems and associated electrical systemsEngineering consulting, including preparing feasibility studies, technical specifications, analytical reports and technical due diligence reports for PV and battery systems in Australia and the Asia-Pacific regionBuilding and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractorsProject managementTechnical due diligence on designs prepared by clients or contractors outside ITPon-site inspection of renewable facilities including testing & commissioningRequired skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical and or renewable energy specialisations preferred)At least 2 years' experience in design roles in the utilities or renewable energy sector, including design of HV connected solar farms or BESSPermanent working rights in AustraliaExperience with EPC contractors, Equipment OEMs or NSPsLevel 3 ASP registrationChartered professional engineerAbout ITP ITP Renewables is a global leader in renewable energy engineering, strategy, compliance and energy sector analytics.
