You will be exposed to diverse engineering projects and contracts in ABB's Service Elec-trification Business in Darra. Reporting to the Projects / Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of these assigned project deliverables.

Your responsibilitiesProviding cost-effective execution of Project Deliverables in accordance with Contract Specifications, Business Models, Quality Standards, Schedule and Safety RequirementsSupporting both own team and relevant functional departments (Sales, Applications, Operations, Business Support, Field Service) in achieving financial business targetsManaging and executing all contracts assigned to you with various deliverables, on time and within budget, accurately forecasting business revenueCreating and delivering scope-specific work plans and budgets, as well as risk assessments as it pertains to your Engineering DisciplineProviding technical recommendations in the Testing, Installation and Commissioning phases of customer projects in both LV and MV productsProviding and supporting technical details, costs and deliverables for Sales ProposalsSupporting Project Managers and Project Lead Engineers in technical reviews and discussions with Customers, Partners, Subcontractors and VendorsSupporting Contract Managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards. Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and on domestic / international customer sites. Developing your Leadership and Communication skills by working with entry-level Engineers, Technicians and Support Teams. Maintaining and enhancing customerYour backgroundBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years or more expe-rience in relevant field Design experience of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchboards in line with IEC/AS/NZS Standards (both ABB and non-ABB assets)Practical and design / programming experience of protection relays (e.g., ABB Relion Series)Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools. CAD and EPLAN knowledge and experience is an added advantagePositive, confident and adaptive to a dynamic team, whilst open to constructive feedback and willingness to change behavioral practices and/or suggest improve-ments to business / tools and process gapsStrong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelinesA high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn and implement new technologies.A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communica-tion skills.
