As a Director, Library Services (Outreach & Scholarly Services), you will: Provide strategic leadership for the library's scholarly services, including digital literacy and open education programs, ensuring alignment with the university's overall strategy, brand and valuesPromote the Library's work and reputation locally, nationally, and internationally through the development of networks, collaborations and key eventsAdvise and support the University Librarian to respond to complex strategic or operational matters, and provide high-level specialist advice, briefings and presentations on emerging external matters which will impact on the library's strategy or service deliveryLead a team of highly motivated experts, and work with other leaders across the Library create a transparent, engaged and inspired cultureTo be successful, you will have: A Degree and/or postgraduate qualifications in library and information science conferring eligibility for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training.Extensive experience conceptualizing, developing, and implementing contemporary academic Library solutions, strategies, and services to achieve a large organization's objectivesExperience in governance and policy in a higher education contextProven capability to lead the delivery of client-focused quality customer service to clients and quality improvement to a wide range of practices and servicesExtensive people leadership experience, and a demonstrated track record of building and maintaining high-performing and highly engaged teamsHere is how to apply:  Please submit your updated resume and a cover letter outlining your skills and experience for the role.
