Credit Analyst, Specialised Business Services Permanent roleSydney, Brisbane or Gold CoastHybrid workingHow will I help? In conjunction with the responsible SBS Account Manager, the purpose of the role is to assist in the management of a portfolio of sub-standard and impaired assets which have been identified as a below average credit risk.  

This important dynamic role requires active involvement with the Group's risk personnel and systems to ensure account management, MIS data and the risk profile of the Borrower is current and accurate at all times. You will prepare credit submissions to Credit approvers, the Head of SBS and sometimes the Group CCO, External advisors such as insolvency firms and lawyers, to develop and recommend credit risk management strategies for Borrowers in the portfolio, based on an ongoing credit analysis of the Borrower and legal review of the Group's documentation and security. You will also be responsible for facilitating face to face meetings with borrowers.

Strong working knowledge of loan products and associated exposure systems.Commercial, business, or corporate credit assessment experience.Experience in loan structures, documentation, and security.Understanding of and interest in relevant industry issues.Have a positive and energetic attitude.Developed interpersonal skills and an ability to converse with customers, professional advisers, and internal Westpac contacts.Keen attention to detail.What is it like to work there?
