We are a one-stop destination for all, including Lady Banks Rooftop Bar and the Basement Brewhouse, multiple diverse restaurants, a hotel and a commercial office tower. The events space in particular includes a conference centre, a 600 seat theatre, a large Grand Ballroom and various function rooms.

We are looking for an extraordinary, enthusiastic and highly motivated events professional that is inspired to create a unique and memorable guest experience. The position will suit someone who is currently looking to develop their leadership skills and prides themselves in delivering superior customer service at all times! Reporting to the Events Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Events team with managing and executing the Events operation.

. Your responsibilities included: Oversee the events operational team Lead by example and having active presence across all events Provide job coaching to Events Coordinators and Team Leaders when running and operating large events Work closely alongside operational stakeholders to ensure smooth operations e.g Food and Beverage, Marketing, Security Act as a primary point of contact for all operational events Coordinating and overseeing all events across BDSC and associated venues Ensure all events are set up and compliant with WHS standards Run and manage multiple events simultaneously Manage venues, suppliers, and external stakeholder on all aspects of event operations Actively drive key revenue goals and targets of the department Proven ability to lead, plan and deliver events in a collaborative and professional way within a large organisation Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key and senior stakeholders across multiple parts of an organisation to deliver an outcome Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, to work both autonomously and as part of a team Experience working within fast paced hospitality environment Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Co mmitment to a high standard of service and customer focus RSA and RCG Competency Card, or willingness to obtain Perks include:
