About the team This role is for a Senior Analyst Programmer responsible for managing all transport applications, frameworks, and services from engineering and operations aspects. About the role As a Senior Analyst Programmer, you will: Provide analysis, development, testing and operations support, including problem resolution, to the running and enhancement of existing production and non-production Transport applications.Lead support team members for conducting root-cause analysis and problem rectification, including changes required to prevent incident recurrenceTroubleshoot and analyse complex problems and advise solution to engineering teamDevelop and update support guidelines, documentation and user guides for best practicesReview systems configuration from support perspective for consistency and qualityProactively improve existing development/support processesImplement and follow best practices for non-prod & production environmentsExercise professional and independent judgements to effectively identify, build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, external software vendors and IT skill groups to ensure there are no unacceptable or degrading impacts to online or key SLA'sResponsible for protecting the stability of operational systems as well as maintain the integrity of the data they containRepresentation for Transport systems amongst IT and business peersAbout you and your skills Experience with incident and problem management.Strong background in Supply Chain systems and must possess strong experience supporting different solutionsAbility to Administer / Configure / Monitor / Maintain multiple mission critical environment Strong working knowledge of systems integrationStrong knowledge in SQL/PLSQL, UNIX and shell scriptingUnderstanding of Supply Chain conceptsStrong understanding of IT systems and architectureStrong process improvement experienceDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completionDriven by a customer-centric approach to all tasksExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsCustomer management Accountable for development of business strategy Commercial Skills & Formal QualificationsSolid understanding of ITIL principles preferredVery high attention to detail is mandatoryAbility to engage with Business and IT TeamsAbility to manage expectations and explain technical solutions to business customersTechnical understanding of Coles IT systems and integration advantageousThe ideal candidate will bring proven experience specifically in incident and vendor management. Stakeholder engagement and management is another important requirement. This role will be a good mix of BAU and project work providing opportunities to get your head around the Coles enterprise systems and build your knowledge on platforms before moving on to more challenging work. Whilst this role will preferably be based in Melbourne, location is flexible and will operate within a hybrid/flexible work environment.
