Milestone IT is Partnering with a leading Healthcare Organisation in Melbourne who are looking for an Individual that is dedicated to delivering accurate and efficient payroll solutions.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Consultant with hands-on experience in using Chris (or a similar payroll software). In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll support to our client, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data. You will collaborate closely with the payroll team to understand their unique payroll needs and provide customised solutions using the Chris software. This is a client-facing role, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and understand their business needsConfigure and maintain payroll parameters, tax tables, and deduction codes in the Chris payroll softwareProcess and validate payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulationsHandle employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issuesGenerate payroll reports and assist with data analysisStay updated on the latest payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirementsProvide training and support to clients on using the Chris payroll software effectivelyRequirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Payroll Consultant or a similar roleIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Chris (or a similar payroll software)Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications:
