The Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis; you will help support the group's business planning, forecast and reporting functions, treasury functions and strategic projects. This role plays a key part in reporting to investors including the manager, Brookfield Asset Management and has regular interactions with Brookfield.

Having a keen eye for detail; you will provide high quality financial and commercial insight and analysis to Aveo's business leaders, investor stakeholders and financiers to enable them to make accurate and informed decisions.

You will also work with Aveo managers to assist with the ongoing development of the budgeting and financial planning models, to ensure value is maximised both at a Division and Group level.

What we offer Hybrid and flexible working arrangements2 additional 'All About Me' leave days per calendar yearAbility to purchase up to 4 weeks additional annual leaveUp to 12 weeks paid parental leaveOpportunities for further career developmentYou will Responsible for maintaining, updating and modifying the business plan cash flow model with current period changes as necessary, with the assistance of an analyst.Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis with regard to business planning targets and initiatives, and debt covenants.Conduct modelling of M&A scenarios.Calculate retirement village cash yields, unit pricing sensitivities and impact on investment returns.Responsible for scenario and sensitivity analysis as required.Management of the Group's short-term liquidity forecast.Responsible for the review and submission of the monthly liquidity & bank report, quarterly activity, risk & covenant compliance certificate.Assist FP&A team in delivery of monthly / quarterly Board reports.Interrogating and understanding forecast vs actual variances and feeding proposed adjustments back into forecast models.Develop strong relationships and provide financial and commercial insights to the business leaders of Aveo to support their decision-making.What you'll bring Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA / CA)Experience in preparing and reviewing complex financial modelling.Minimum 5 years in similar rolesProven ability to analyse financial information and understanding its impact and assess outcomes.Understanding of treasury and liquidity management.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with a focus on ExcelFamiliarity with management accounting and IFRS conceptsAbility to understand complex structures and explain them in simpler terms.Proven track record in achieving results and ability to prioritise work in accordance with reporting needs.Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
