Role: Management - Strategic Partnerships and Business Development Location: Australia (with potential for global engagements)

Responsibilities:

Cultivate strategic partnerships with key clients to enhance the organization's presence in the renewable energy industry.Drive business development efforts to achieve growth in the client base and expand services, with a focus on hydrogen, decarbonization, and high voltage (HV) experience.Support the development of sector capability and capacity within the organization.Provide strategic advice to clients throughout project initiation, development stages, and up to the final investment decision (FID) phase.Offer insights and recommendations on various approaches to achieve clients' overall objectives in the renewables sector.Advise on crucial success areas, including approvals (legislative, commercial, environmental, joint ventures, funding, etc.), funding management via banks and industry incentive schemes, land access and acquisition matters, grid connections, establishment of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), ESG-related matters, supply chain engagement, and stakeholder management.Oversee teams responsible for service delivery in the development and execution phase, ensuring effective project governance, processes, and systems across clients' portfolios and projects.Lead the establishment of success criteria for projects, encompassing time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.Manage the flow of project information through regular meetings and written communications with clients and other stakeholders.Produce formal project progress reports and ensure effective communication with clients and consultants at all stages of the project.Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should hold professional qualifications in project management, environmental/sustainability, commercial, or engineering fields, with a strong emphasis on electrical/HV knowledge.A minimum of 15 years of experience in the Clean Energy and Decarbonization industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.Proven track record in business development and cultivating client relationships to drive brand growth.Comprehensive understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception to completion and post-project review.Excellent knowledge and experience in project management concepts, tools, and techniques.Strong communication skills, team management capabilities, and the ability to handle multiple projects and client commissions.Join a dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of renewable energy.
