You will join and help lead a knowledgeable and fast-growing team. You will step in to lead some existing key client relationships and you will win and deliver new clients on a regular basis. You will have ongoing support and guidance from the APAC Technical Discipline Manager and other leads across regions, along with direct reports and delivery teams in APAC region. In many cases, you will be the senior account lead managing key client relationships; coaching, guiding and motivating the team; and ensuring outstanding technical quality of deliverables. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities: Technical Expertise : Contributes to development and implementation of ESG Strategic Advisory service practice offerings - i.e., materiality reviews, stakeholder engagement, strategy development, implementation roadmaps, sustainability reporting, submission to specialist ESG indices (such as S&P Global's CSA), etc. Client delivery : Leads client engagements and teams to deliver high quality results, on time and on budget. Business development : Proactively supports business development activity to generate leads, write proposals, and win new projects. People development : Line management responsibility for a small number of direct reports in addition to managing staff on projects, including support in setting objectives, conducting career development discussions and supporting development. Raise our profile : Contributes to design and delivery of thought leadership (i..e, executive guides, articles, and/or reports) and represents SLR at speaking engagements and events.   Skills and experience: Post-graduate degree in a relevant field. 10+ years of professional experience in consulting, business, or not for profit sector. Expertise in key frameworks, standards and regulation, such as ISSB, GRI, ESRS, UNGC, S&P Global CSA, or Modern Slavery Act. Exceptional collaboration skills and a passion for cultivating and expanding a strong professional network. Role models core consulting skills and competencies (i.e., research and analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, synthesising findings, developing recommendations, report writing, delivering presentation, facilitating meetings). Leads continuous development of subject matter knowledge in the team by keeping up to date with specialist area trends and best practices. Leads and directs management of complex and / or multiple projects, often acting as the primary client contact. Strong leadership credentials, with judgment to inspire and develop individuals.
