APG Workforce are currently seeking aMaintenance Fitter Team Leaderfor our client who are a nationally known market leader in the poultry industry based in Role10 Hours shift, 4 days a weekKey ResponsibilitiesLeading a team of employees. Providing a positive example for the team. Establishing and managing effective working relationships. Contributing to the development of a team-based learning environment. Receiving instructions and allocating work to the team. Maintaining high safety standards within the team. Maintaining high standards of food safety welfare within the team. Determining plant failures or shortages in labour or material, and advising deficiencies to supervisory staff for action. Acquiring and analysing workplace information. Communicating with team and department managers on a regular basis. Be trained in and perform role of fire warden. Conduct informal counselling of team members regarding performance deficiencies.
