Civil Supervisors - Road Construction - GenQLDChallenging Projects with reputable Contractors Interesting Locations Contract to begin, may go Permanent Challenging Projects with reputable Contractors Interesting Locations Contract to begin, may go Permanent We have regular opportunities in theBrisbane &/or greater QLD regionand are seeking experiencedCivil Roadworks Supervisors -interested in joining us for an initial 1 - 2 year Assignments with a view to extensions &/or ongoing roles. Also, the opportunity exists to transition from a Civil Supervisor to a 'Pre-Qualified Civil Inspector' / Clientside for purpose of these roles are to supervise and deliver the construction of roadworks projects to Transport and Main Roads' (DTMR) quality specifications & standards.Responsibilities: • Use knowledge of TMR policies, standards and specifications and be able to read, understand and interpret technical documents & standards; • Prepare written documents including daily diary & reports; • Communicate with all stakeholders and keep them informed of progress and quality of works; and • Provide effective administration and documentation as required; • Provide a professional commitment to the health and safety of staff, contractors and site visitors in line with company policy;Mandatory Experience The person applying for this role must have a minimum of 5 - 7 years' practical experience in 'road construction' & crew supervision.• Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management and email a distinct advantage.Must have a driver's licence and have access to own transport to/from home to site. Preference for own mobile phone. Preference will also be given to someone already living in Brisbane or Queensland &/or willing to relocate there, however we will consider alternatives. The proposed hours are nominally 40 per week, although no guarantee there won't be more or less hours due to project demands.
