About the role Due to an internal promotion, ARC have an opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our tight-knit team at our Wagga Wagga branch. You will be working closely with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This position would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer/sales experience. This is a permanent role - Monday to Friday with working hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain customer relationships through service excellence Process and manage customer orders, quotes, and enquiries face-to-face, online, and over the phone Over-the-counter sales - early morning customer pick-ups run hot!Planning of production runs and loads Liaising with freight companies to manage transport and logisticsWork alongside the sales team to support ARC's success in the market Creation and maintenance of pricing-related informationOnsite customer visits to develop long-term relationships and a deep understanding of their needsAdhere to ARC's WH&S policies and procedures About your experience To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent written and oral communication skillsSound IT skills High level of attention to detail and robust administrative skillsExperience working alongside customers face-to-face and over phone/emailSkilled in value-based sellingSelf-motivated, driven, and with a positive attitude - cup half full!Previous experience in the construction/manufacturing industry is not essential - hiring manager is focused on the right customer/cultural values you bring to our team About our team The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) - a brand of InfraBuild - is a leading manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcing that Australians have trusted for over 100 years.
