We're seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team and contribute your skills to this extraordinary new venture. About the venue:

Step into the realm of our exciting new culinary offering in eastern Suburbs. Immerse yourself in the world of modern Japanese cuisine, boasting 140 seats, footpath dining for 20-30 guests, and two distinct bar areas. Upstairs, a captivating cocktail-bar awaits.

Key Responsibilities: As Junior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our culinary vision.Collaborate closely with the kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.Leverage your Japanese culinary experience to enrich our diverse menu offerings.Thrive in a fast-paced environment, fuelled by a service-focused mentality.Contribute your talent to a dynamic kitchen team of 9-10 chefs.Ensure precision and excellence in the Raw, Hot, and Pass sections.Embrace our team mentality, fostering camaraderie and a culture of growth. Qualifications: Possess relevant culinary experience as a Junior Sous Chef.Showcase expertise in Japanese cuisine and charcoal grilling techniques.Flourish in fast-paced kitchen environments, demonstrating adaptability and composure.Embrace teamwork, contributing your skills to a cohesive kitchen brigade.Possess the desire to grow and evolve within our culinary family. What We Offer: Competitive compensation, with a salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 per year.Sponsorship opportunities may be available for eligible candidates.Past experience in renowned Japanese establishments is of particular interest.
