The Opportunity
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced accounts officer to join this fast growing, market leading company on a permanent full-time basis. Our client is an Australian construction company who continue to excel in the sector. Located just north of the CBD, this role will be a critical member of the finance team, assisting with accounts payable, receivable and payroll in a growing, successful business. Due to expected growth and a high calibre CFO, there is plenty of learning and career growth opportunities available.
The Challenge Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end processing of the Accounts Payable functionEnd-to-end processing of the Accounts Receivable functionMaintaining relationships with clients and dealing with inquiries.Cash flow forecasting and generating payment runs.Completing GL reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations and end of month journals.Providing expertise for all queries relating to invoice exceptions, payments and allocations.Opportunity to learn payroll. 3+ years' experience in a similar role.Systems experience with Xero (or similar) as well project tracking software preferred.High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work autonomously in a team environment.Adaptable, flexible and open to continual improvement.
