As their commercial team continues to expand, the business seeks an aspiring management accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a business with lots of positive momentum. 

The Challenge Supporting the Accountant and Commercial Finance Manager, you will be assisting with the following duties:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysisAssist in budget and forecast preparation and ongoing monitoring and review of performancePreparation of general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation and corporate reportingAnalysis and providing guidance for the business both operationally and commerciallyLeading the continuous improvement of management financial reporting Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and completion of year end auditsProviding ad-hoc support to the broader finance team The Expertise Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

Working towards completing your CPA/CA Qualification 3-5 years experience working within a relevant role Intermediate excel skills and the ability to proactively develop financial models to guide business decisions Strong communication and personable skills and the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders The Next Step
