We are currently seeking qualified Maintenance Fitters for our modern Export Red Meat Processing Plant. This role will be a part of a team who provide day to day machinery maintenance and breakdown repairs of the plant. What skill are we looking for? • Australian trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance Fitting & Turning) • Welding trade or experience with mig, tig and gas • Mechanical fitting and machining What experience are we looking for? • Previous experience in a food processing facility would be an advantage. • Fault finding and diagnostic repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic machines. • Welding and fabricating • Machinery repair and preventative maintenance • Commitment to workplace health and safety • Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in required time frame. All positions are full time permanent positions with current wages under the current Enterprise Agreement - $39.53 per hour. This equals $82,222.40 pa. (Based on a 40hr week with 2hr accrued time per week) Overtime is available.
