Persolkelly has partnered with 3M to seek a clinical support specialist for a 12-month max term contract that includes sick leaves and annual leaves and the possibility to go perm. Fully remote position, POSITION TITLE: Clinical Support Specialist DEPARTMENT: Health Information Systems REPORTS TO: Senior Clinical Support Consultant Responsibilities Specific Environment, Health, and Safety Responsibilities. Provide Expert knowledge associated with Classification, Grouping, Reimbursement, and hospital coding processes. Respond to telephone, email, and written inquiries from customers regarding 3M HIS products. 4 . Customer on-site visits for support purposes. Also attend trade meetings, team meetings and conferences, and other business meetings as appropriate

5 . Maintain up-to-date customer information systems.

6 . Co-ordinate with the Sales Specialist and Technical Support Team, customer support requirements to ensure appropriate coverage and assistance for support in the allocated territory of VIC and SA Work with and support team members in developing Australia and New Zealand HIS business. - As part of the HIS team, be an active contributor to developing the business. Contributor to product development teams for clinical requirements. 8 . Assist with new product development and localization as required

9 . Customer Education and training

Testing of 3M HIS Codefinder as required before customer release Essential HSC Graduate - Medical Records Administrator / Degree in Health Information Management SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS GAINED FROM COURSEWORK OR PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE At least four years of practical experience in coding and grouping patient records as an MRA in the hospital system. (Essential) Analytical Skills Basic PC Computer Skills Ability to analyze information systematically. High level of written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated. Work long periods unsupervised. Good organization skills. Good interpersonal skills via telephone and e-mail Specific experience in computer technology and or technical skills related to software management (i.e. worked in an IT area or with IT systems for a minimum of two years) is preferable.
