Current opportunity - Accountant, Tax Returns, Internal Finance We have a full-time opportunity for an Accountant to specialise in individual, Trust, and Company tax returns within our Internal Finance team in Brisbane. In this role, you will work closely with a senior member of the BDO team and will have the responsibility for the following: Preparing Financial Reports in Xero Preparing Income Tax Returns Xero cashbook/ledger file set up including chart of accounts, bank feeds, bank reconciliation and end of year accounting journals Collate and record source data information accurately in client accounting system Reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L items with respective work papers What you'll need to succeed Relevant Bookkeeping and/or Tertiary qualifications Working knowledge of cloud accounting platform Xero is essential 2+ years Tax Return preparation experience is mandatory Ability to take initiative and work autonomously Meticulous attention to detail Ability to pick up new technology quickly Ideally, you'll enjoy taking initiative and working autonomously to ensure work is completed to a high standard Why BDO BDO offers professional development, collaborative culture, workplace flexibility, global career growth opportunities and an industry-competitive salary package.
