This role will be for 12 months with potential for extension. Flexible working arrangements may be considered. The requirements include technical, process and governance improvements to the overall Information Communications Technology (ICT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments with major focus on cyber security, affecting the whole of enterprise. The role must engage and build relationships with other leaders and key stakeholders, may be required to chair various regular meetings, and provide regular periodic status reports to senior management as required. You are expected to have program management experience and understanding of cyber security and related risks. Duties and responsibilities will include the following: § Using project management tools, establish procedures and techniques to ensure regulatory compliance with the provisions of the Security Legislation Amendment (Critical Infrastructure) Bill 2020 (Cth), including, but not limited to, increasing cyber security maturity in line with AESCSF model (covering IT and OT), Implementing comprehensive background checking process, improving compliance with supply-chain related standards, cyber security, and additional specified material hazards . § In consultation with Group Managers, use established project management tools and techniques to develop and maintain project plans that detail project outcomes, scope, benefits, timing, cost, resourcing, stake-holdings, quality, configuration, communication, and risk. § Monitor and own the project/program schedules, its associated activities, to ensure the organisation meets the regulatory timelines outlined in the Bill. § Work collaboratively with relevant parts of the business to ensure organisational understanding of the regulatory compliance and the associated expectations and requirements. § Build and maintain relationships to identify and coordinate internal and external stakeholder interaction on the projects. § Lead and implement people centred changed through sound project management processes. § Identify strategies to assist the organisational change, including improving processes and governance practices inside the business. § Measure and monitor the delivery performance of the project and develop initiatives to improve delivery performance through ongoing surveillance and feedback. § Maintain a holistic view of the business and delivery risk of the project to ensure issues are identified and actioned proactively. § Prepare clear and perceive progress and status reports for the project to ensure visibility of the project's performance and initiatives to the Executive and Board. To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria: Tertiary qualification in Program/Project Management or substantial another relevant, business-related discipline § Previous experience in managing and delivering major ICT or cyber security projects of varying size and complexity § Experience in engaging, influencing, and collaborating with a range of business stakeholders to develop ongoing work relationships that achieve positive outcomes. § Experience affecting people centred organisational change related to legislative obligations The following criteria is desirable: § Experience and understanding of the utilities sector and its associated infrastructure § Previous experience in preparing and presenting organisational performance, strategic reports and updates § Previous experience in establishing and improving business processes and standards in a complex business/government environment § Knowledge of the current Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth), the related Sector Specific Rules (Electricity Sector) the associated amendments, and the associated regulatory and compliance aspects If you are interested in applying, please use the link provided.
