Opportunity to Tutor Groups with Minimal Admin Work Have you ever wanted to do group tutoring but never had the time, training or students to?  As a UCAT tutor at Contour, rather than tutoring one student at a time, you can now motivate groups of students with your knowledge and experience, without the hassle of more admin work and finding students. As there is almost no requirement for marketing, content creation, billing or any other admin work , all you have to do is t ake simple attendance, manage student emails, and address student questions promptly outside of class via social media/text/email! Access to High-Quality Tutoring Material You've probably spent (or will end up spending) hundreds of unpaid hours making tutoring resources for your students. We know it can be an extremely time-consuming process, and arguably one of the more boring and tedious parts of being a tutor. But that's where we come in!  We've spent thousands of hours creating resources and detailed notes for the UCAT. All we need now is you—the tutor! All you have to do is prepare for your tutoring session by reading over the class workbooks beforehand, and provide an excellent tutoring experience to your students :) If you'd like to create additional resources for us or do more non-tutoring work, we can also organise tailored payment plans to suit your needs :) Comprehensive Training, Support & Personal Development Working in a collaborative environment and an energetic team can be a fantastic opportunity to hone your skills and learn so much along the way! When you work with us, you'll  have the chance to learn from tutors who have spent thousands of hours tutoring and have garnered years of experience, perfecting their craft. We'll also help you upskill and refine your communication and teaching skills, as you'll receive thorough training and support from our Head UCAT Tutor. You'll be able to practise teaching mock classes with mock students before you tutor real lessons, and y ou'll receive detailed feedback and targeted advice from us to keep you performing at your very best!  By the end of your training, the role will become very familiar to you , and you will feel comfortable tutoring group lessons and enhancing your students' tutoring experience! You'll also be engaged with the rest of the team through routine catch-ups and peer-review sessions, and over time you'll receive further perks, pay rises, classes and work opportunities . We'll also be there to support you through any personal ventures such as rent applications and job references! A Multi-Faceted Role with Competitive Pay and Compensation The UCAT Practical Tutor role at Contour MedPrep is an innovative and exciting role which involves 3 unique responsibilities through which you will support your students. We pride ourselves on compensating and rewarding our tutors generously for their hard work, and our starting rate ranges from $30/hour to $60/hour + super , depending on the type of work you complete, as outlined in-depth below.  Tutoring 1-Hour Small-Group (10-20 Students) Weekly Practical Lessons via Zoom (starting at $60 + super per 1-hour class, approx 5-15 hours per week on Mon/Tue/Wed) These lessons are interactive, engaging and discussion-oriented lessons with revision and application questions based on the content taught by the Head Tutor earlier in the week!  The role also involves answering student queries related to the UCAT, school, medical school admissions and anything else outside of class! Running 1-On-1 20-Minute Consultations for Your Students (starting at $45/hour + super, approx 5 hours per week) You'll be provided with a guide and thorough training for each type of consultation we offer, as well as a written summary template for you to screenshare & fill in during the session, for the student to be sent later.  Attending Content Lessons and Any Optional Extra Work (starting at $60 + super per 2-hour session) Attending content lessons via Zoom, tutored by our Head UCAT Tutor, from 9AM - 11AM and 7PM - 9PM every Sunday. Involves replying to your students' queries via the Zoom chat and assisting the Head Tutor throughout the class.  Optional extra work involves invigilating our live mock exams as well as any other admin work you choose to pick up! Note:  To clarify, all 3 responsibilities above are mandatory (you will not just be allocated to one specific responsibility, all 3 will be part of your weekly schedule).  We also provide generous bonuses for student enrolments! (the better you perform, the more you share in our company's success) The time requirements above are estimates. There is an option to work more or less than the hours above, depending on your schedule and preference, so just let us know! Past Contour UCAT Student  Prior leadership, tutoring or mentoring experience NOTE: These are not hard and fast requirements ; however, they are certainly favourable to your application. Genuine Desire to Motivate Students  (e.g. your primary goal is to help students achieve their potential, like us!) ? Full Academic Year Commitment (e.g. no overseas exchange trips for 8 weeks)  Ability to Commit to Weekly Classes (e.g. can't constantly reschedule or miss classes) Sign an NDA (e.g. can't distribute our resources/company info to others) Agree to a non-compete clause (e.g. you can't tutor student groups for others, exceptions apply, check with us!)
