Management of Clinical Aggression (MOCA) Coordinator (RPN 5) Pivotal leadership role | Ongoing part time (0.5 EFT) | RPN5Based at across Parkville and Footscray with some travel to other sites Tailored training opportunities and support for career progression Your new team Orygen Specialist Program (OSP), a program of the Royal Melbourne Hospital, provides specialist mental health services, focusing on early intervention, for young people aged 15 to 25 with severe and complex mental illness. Your new role: Coordinate the MOCA Program across OSP, including the delivery of training, assessing training outcomes through local rehearsals and participating in an ongoing evaluation process across the various settingsProvide strategic direction for the ongoing development of the MOCA program including the training model and project aimsWork collaboratively with senior leaders and external stakeholders to continuously shape the approach to MOCA across our servicesCoordinate MOCA education and training components in accordance RMH/OSP policy and procedure, inclusive of any changes to the program as Orygen grows and transforms. About You: Comprehensive clinical expertise to initiate and lead evidence-based nursing practice in the delivery of care to young people with complex mental health needs Experience in training, especially MOCALeadership experience, including provision of consultation, and education to clinical workforceNurses from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply Benefits of working with us: You will enjoy excellent work-life balance.
