About the RoleThis role will see you work with regional journalists from across New South Wales to script and produce video/TV stories for broadcast and digital platforms.Key responsibilities will include: Working with regional reporters to identify stories and workshop pictures, talent and anglesSub-editing scripts produced by regional teams for state and national audiencesWorking with metro and regional newsroom colleagues to identify key issues for communities across New South Wales, and commission storiesDeveloping video storytelling skills across the regional reporting team, by providing feedback and delivering training About YouYou will have extensive editorial experience in a news environment as well as advanced media production skills, with a particular focus on video scripting and editing.You will also possess: Effective teamwork, communication and time management skillsAn understanding of the issues affecting regional and rural new South WalesA demonstrated knowledge and understanding of shifting audience habits and content demands
