THE ROLE An exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team on a Full-Time basis (24-hour Plant- Rotating Roster in a12h shift, 4 days on/4 days off). This opportunity will come with training and development opportunities to kickstart your career. The key responsibilities of this role will be to: * Lead our dedicated team of Production Operators in the production of Gyprock, Cornice, Plasters & Compounds products. * Ensure that all employees are working within the safety requirements of their roles, raising hazards and reporting incidents. * Ensure quality monitoring requirements are met and within specifications. * Process improvement initiatives implemented. * Manage personnel on shift including rostering and training. * Minimise plant downtime and maximise efficiency (during delays, changeovers & maintenance days). * Co-ordinate's after-hours maintenance call outs * Monthly toolbox meetings covering all manufacturing employees. * All reporting requirements completed on time. * Maintenance work requests raised and followed up on. * Follow up on any issues raised on previous shift. * Responsible for gypsum shipments into the shed.
