In this position, you will be trained to Inspect, repair, and manufacture equipment used in a specialised industry.This will involve having the ability to disassemble, overhaul, repair and reassemble mechanical components and equipment.You will need to read and interpret technical drawings. Plus have an understanding of Metric and Imperial measurements.You will need to be able to operate manual machines such as lathes or mills to manufacture repair components. And at times you may have to fabricate and weld.Fundamentally you will be trained to inspect, repair, and or manufacture components for specialised equipment.To start with you will be working side by side with an experienced tradesperson learning the job. Once passed all the skills you will be given a car and a phone plus tools and will be out visiting clients.This is a career position with a company that cares for its staff and pays its team well.
