Our Corporate Office is located on Queens Road in Melbourne. A modern & completely open plan office with smart/biz casual dress code A small team of about 35 people across Central Sales Reservations, National Sales, Revenue, Marketing, People & Culture, Property & Leasing and Finance Walking distance to public transport (train/tram), close to public car parks and have free & secure bike/scooter storage A team that doesn't believe in corporate politics and values balancing work with life This role is based at our Corporate Office, however the nature of your role will require you to travel to clients, our hotel sites and our development sites (local & interstate).

Responsibilities This is an exciting role for us! Our growth has put us in a great place as a Group, and as a result of significant expansion over the past 18 months in particular, we've undergone a review of our sales function. Now, we're looking for a strong sales leader that is down-to-earth and brings high-level commercial acumen to join us as the Director of Sales for our Group. 

Initially you'll work with our People & Culture Manager on the recruitment of people into some brand new roles. Then, you'll embark on a journey of embedding your high performance team of 10+ sales experts into our business. Success will be the achievement of targets/budgets, a team that is value-aligned, and the growth of all corporate segments and their production. 

You'll directly manage strategic TMC relationships and internal relationships with Revenue, Operations, Development and other corporate teams. Other responsibilities will include:

The successful person must have:

Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights) Minimum 5 years hotel corporate sales management experience (B2B) Proven dynamic and inspiring leadership style of high-performing sales teams Demonstrated ability to drive positive revenue outcomes, KPIs and relationships  Strong financial and commercial acumen Strong understanding of sales and contract negotiations Ability to think strategically and plan Excellent collaboration, assertiveness and communication (written and verbal at all levels) Effective organisation, detail orientation and time management  Ability to influence decision makers and provide creative solutions High EQ and the ability to influence and get the most out of people #J-18808-Ljbffr
