We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to join our Adelaide team and provide direction and management support.

This position involves leading a team of Supervisors, Technicians and Coordinators servicing Fire Protection Systems and Equipment across South Australia and Northern Territory.

About the Role Reporting to the Managing Director of our Chubb Fire business and based in our Findon (Adelaide) office, this role is pivotal to Chubb'songoing success in the Fire and Safety service market across South Australia and Northern Territory.

Tasked with achieving profitability and growing the business, you will oversee the day-to-day operations as well as manage a growing team of technicians, administration and sales staff. You will be required to use your leadership skills and highly developed inter-personal skills to effectively manage key relationships with customers, suppliers, and importantly our employees to maximise the potential of all.

Other Responsibilities:

Leading, motivating and supporting all employees to achieve defined business objectives. Engage in business community activities with the aim of building local relationships and growing business activity within the area. Full P&L responsibility for the Chubb Fire SA/NT Business Unit Taking ultimate responsibility for the handling of customer concerns ensuring prompt and effective resolution and customer satisfaction Develop and execute strategic projects Ensure regular staff performance reviews are conducted and training & development provided as appropriate. About You Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR). Current Australian Drivers Licence. Fire industry experience is highly regarded, however experience in similar industries such as Electronic Security, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or Building Services will be considered. An experienced and professional General Manager/Operations Manager with a track record of successfully operating a business with a sound understanding of the Fire industry. Able and willing to travel to travel interstate, namely the Northern Territory on a regular basis A driven leader with a strong commitment to building great leaders and a positive team culture & engagement. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. High level of professionalism and business acumen. Excellent negotiation and people management skills Ability to build sound relationships.
