Project Support Officer - NSW Government Penrith/Kingswood - Hybrid - 3 days on site, 2 days WFH $43ph + super Immediate start - Initial contract through to 30th June 2024 with likely extension Full time, Monday to Friday Working with Children Check required This large Government organisation within the higher education sector are seeking an experienced administration professional, ideally with previous Government experience. This is a very rewarding role in a friendly and supportive working environment with the possibilty for ongoing work and future Government opportunities.
About the role: In this role, you will be providing comprehensive executive and administrative support to Project Managers, Training Managers and Education Leads for TAFE Skills Exchange Infrastructure Projects to facilitate communication and timely processing of course schedules, participant bookings, correspondence, appointments and other related activities to assist in meeting educational and administrative business goals of the projects.
Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide efficient and effective administrative support services to support the management of daily teaching and learning operations and the student journey as well as the smooth running of activities
Assisting with the maintenance of records and databases including educational systems, finance system and student management systems
Contribute to preparation of reports
Responding to correspondence and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email
Managing team inboxes
Coordinating meetings and workshops
Researching and drafting documents
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills/Experience Previous experience with TAFE NSW or other Government organisations is highly regarded
Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office suite particularly in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Thrive in managing varying tasks and meeting deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Aptitude for learning new systems
Strong attention to detail and highly organised
Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team
