Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance. About the Role: We have an exciting position available in our Sustaining Capital Ports Project Delivery team, supporting the delivery of the Car Dumper 1 Decommissioning at Cape Lambert. Duties and Responsibilities: Supporting a safe and effective outcome for delivering the Car Dumper 1 Decommissioning at Cape Lambert Provide project engineering support with accountability of delivering critical project streams Assure the conformance to RTIO technical standards, project schedule, quality and HSE management systems Monitor project progress and compliance to schedule and cost Review and develop responses to Consultant and Contractor TQs / RFIs in a timely manner Monitor and report on contractor scope completion and correlate to contractors progress payments Skills & Experience Required: Project management / project engineering experience within a mining, marine or heavy industrial environment Previous project management experience for large scale mining clients will be beneficial Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive and trusting relationships across a wide range of stakeholders Proficient in MS Project Australian C Class drivers licence Rights to work in Australia About WorkPac: WorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
