About your role UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are on the search for an experienced Maintenance Enginee r to join our supportive Engineering team, based at our facility in Bassendean. Reporting to the Technical & Facilities Manager, the role of Maintenance Engineer will be to create and maintain a safe, functional and efficient work environment through the development and management of the equipment overhaul processes and the systems. This includes managing contractors, internal staff and customers as required to complete customer equipment overhauls. Specifically, you will be responsible for: - Providing leadership and support to all site business improvement initiatives through work scope and supporting system development/maintenance - Subject matter expertise & support for customer equipment overhauls, servicing and breakdowns - Project Management for key engineering and manufacturing projects - Maintaining and improving the data management system to plan and conduct works - Developing and maintaining scopes of work and relevant processes for overhauls, equipment and process designs About you - Specialist experience in an Engineering Technical role, within a heavy machinery & workshop environment - Successful background leading & mentoring teams in a maintenance or production role - Tertiary Engineering Qualifications - Mechatronics or Mechanical - Project Management, cost control & budgeting - Experience with SAP or similar ERP data management system - Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally. - Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven.
