About the Role The Nurse Unit Manager of the Hospital in the Home Service (HITH) is responsible for providing effective leadership in the planning and delivery of a high quality home based service whilst developing professional and collaborative partnerships with the overall management of Barwon Health. The role of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is to co-ordinate and manage the day to day operations of the HITH service, encompassing strategic planning of financial capital, human and physical resources. The NUM will act as a role model, providing leadership and practice within the core values of Barwon Health. Overall the NUM will form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be required to ensure a highly responsive and flexible service that meets the needs of our community
