As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a key member of the finance team, contributing to the development and implementation of accounting processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.

Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Reconcile accounts, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to the Director of Finance.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including tax reporting and auditing requirements.

Develop and maintain financial models, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a CPA designation is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.

Strong technical expertise in accounting, including knowledge of GAAP, tax reporting requirements, and financial reporting.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
